Error on this site
Hi,
If you came across this website in the last months or so you probably noted the undefined method `[]’ for #, error message on several pages including the homepage. Today I finally took some time to fix this issue.
It seems that radiant 0.6.9 is not compatible with ruby 1.8.7x so if you are still running a old version of this excellent ruby based CMS system, then I suggest to not upgrade ruby yet till you had the change to upgrade radiant first.
I also came across an annoying bug degrading my ruby version, I suddenly had weird “Virtual time alarm” errors, I fixed this by degrading the mysql gem from version 2.8.1 to 2.7.
For now all should work as before the ruby upgrade, in a couple of months I will close this blog and reuse this domain name for a “non intrusive” config management tool which I’m planning to develop as I tried things like puppet but they are far to complex for what I need.
Cheers,
Johan
